The Girl In The Black Hood is another instalment of the ‘Writespiration’ courtesy of Sacha Black.
This particular writing challenge is to write a story using just 52 words – no more, with the given topic of the girl that wore the black hood.
I’ve pinched this idea off of Deb from Deb’s World and you can find her excellent version of the story by clicking here.
I’m sure you may recognise this particular girl I am writing about but it’s from a very different perspective.
The Girl In The Black Hood
A walk through the once dark and tempting woods.
Basket of delicious delights in hand.
For old time’s sake.
The cottage covered with a veil of ivy.
Once a loving home.
Now in mourning.
No wolves lurking behind this door.
Last look back.
Now only black, not red.
I’d love to see how you have approached this challenge. Don’t forget to let me know when you have published yours!
